The group meets once a month providing peer support for all of its members. During these sessions, there are often opportunities for the members to try out new activities, find out about information from guest speakers, and tackle some of the many issues that as survivors of breast cancer many of the ladies face. The members now have access to counselling services. We have a range of professionals on tap who are willing to step in and support the ladies, and the sessions are regularly attended by a Macmillan Nurse.

Bosom Belles is part of the Bosom Family Support family and was created in January 2016. The formation of the group was as a result of a lot of our BFS members being particularly interested in singing. Our choir conductor is Janine Turner and keeps the whole group in tip top shape. We perform at local events and all funds raised goes to help the Bosom Family Support charity. So, not only is it a bit of fun and a giggle - it also raises money as well!

The Liferafts group is run by Louise and Jo. Liferafts is a group aimed at children and young people. This group welcomes individuals and siblings that have or are living with someone who has a life limiting illness, living with cancer or has experienced someone pass away. The group meets monthly with the aim of showing the children and young people that they are not alone, to have a confidential space to meet others in similar situations and spend time together.

Run by a qualified therapeutic counsellor, Louise ensures she is available each meeting to offer 121 time with every child or young person should they need it. The group thrives on hot chocolate and cake, supported by a wide variety of activities and a yearly residential. The majority of sessions are free, however there may be times when we ask for a small contribution.
